Last issue to vote and discuss with contracts is, when someone drops/trades a signed player............do they.......
1) Get a new contract in place of the one on the dropped/traded player?
2) Get new contract when the old one expires
3) Get some type of 1 year contract or something
Since contracts don't carry with the players that are moved around I think any one of these could work.

i'm not sure what is being asked here.
if you cut or trade somebody under contract you lose that player and therefore his contract. so at the end of the season you would have room to sign someone else...right?
As it is now, you get a 2 and a 3 year contract to use. Let us say you signed someone to a 3 year contract, you drop him this year, do you get a new 3 year contract to use? Do you have to wait until those 3 years are over before you get a new 3 year contract? or do you get a 1 year contract for now and have to wait out the rest of the time of the old contract? I hope that helps, it's a bit confusing.
well i mean if you cut somebody in football their contract is done so i would think that you would have another contract of the same value to sign someone else in the off season.
personally, i think it would be way easier if we only had 1 year contacts and at the end of each year you pick the 2 players you want to keep. just be much more simple.
So if someone is dropped/traded the owner gets a new contract in place. Sounds fine I'll put up voting in a day unless we have more points to make.
